Mr. Rosenberg has served as general counsel and advisor to numerous domestic and international businesses, organizations and individuals on corporate, real estate, business immigration, trade, sports and entertainment, dispute resolution and government issues.  Tom has lectured extensively throughout the international emerging markets on immigration and trade issues.

In relation to industry sectors, Mr. Rosenberg has recently counseled industry leaders in the fields of:

 

• Energy efficiency development and investment, focusing on large-scale energy efficiency technology finance and ESCO investments, both domestically and internationally.

• International business development and investment transactions, including supply chain management and logistics, market entry and administrative compliance.

• All aspects of foreign direct investment, including project development, business plan structuring and regulatory matters.

• International immigration and visa matters, including employment-based and investment related categories.

• Entrepreneurial and startup entity endeavors, including business development and legal structuring.

• FDA and EPA regulatory matters as to regulated products investment, manufacturing and distribution, including business setup and market penetration.

• LED lighting, controls and emerging energy technologies, focusing on the US and international emerging markets.

• International project development, including all aspects of development, financing and development/construction consortium issues.

• Auto finance and loan origination and sales, including regulatory and compliance issues.

• Real estate acquisitions and development.

 

Prior to his work in the private sector, Tom served as Legal Counsel to the Illinois Senate, Legislative District Office Chief of Staff, Cook County Arbitrator, and as a Hearing Officer for the Secretary of State.  In the mid-1990s, Tom co-founded ATTACK Athletics, co-published the internationally distributed book Jump ATTACK, and worked closely with several professional athletes, including Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Charles Barkley.
